Vaporetto ride - DT layout for Scrap Our Stash

Hello friends,

I'm back with a new layout for Scrap Our Stash! This time with one based on this month's sketch!

Here it is:

I mainly do sketch based layouts for SOS only buy I enjoy them so much! I normally just follow the sketch as is because I always like them! Maybe I replace a photo by something else but other than that I stick to it. Here I used a journal card in place of one photo. For the circle I used a cut file from Kim Watson. I'm obsessed with my Cameo, you know that already...I even cut the teeny tiny bow at the bottom with it, so cute isn't it?!

For the stash challenge I used the following: journal card, crimson, and lined paper (hope my background paper qualifies!).

Hope you play along with us this time too, we'd love to see your work! As a reminder, here is this month's awesome prize:

New Design Team layouts for I Kropka

Hello scrappy friends,

Today I am up on the I Kropka blog with some new layouts.

This was a hard one because when I made these layouts I was very low on chipboard stock :). Or the ones I had I already used on previous projects as well and I wanted to use something different. So these are a bit random and not my favourite layouts but I hope you still find something you like!

I am also adding 3 layouts at the end that were not done for this blogpost originally so I have already posted them on my instagram. These are new layouts so I had plenty of chipboards to choose from :) and I do like how they turned out!

Without further ado, here they are:

And here are the 3 pages I mentioned earlier:

I've used all sorts of chipboards here that I had no other plans for, for this project you can use absolutely any chipboard you have remaining or don't know how to use (notice the Polish letters I've used up here because otherwise I have no use for them)!

Hope you've found some inspiration here today! See you soon! X

Creative You - DT layout for Scrap Our Stash

Hi there,

I'm up on the Scrap Our Stash blog today with a layout for our book inspired stash challenge!

Here's the cover and what you have to do:

Here's the awesome prize! Too bad I can't participate, I wouldn't mind putting my hands on this one! :)

You have until the end of the month to link up your projects to the SOS site

I hope you are enjoying our new challenge format, I know I do! I really love the book cover inspiration challenges - it's amazing how all of us interpret the same cover differently, how every tiny detail affects us differently; I really love to see it! I noticed that I often take inspiration from the colors, that's what my eyes take in first. Not this time though - or rather: even if the colors were the first thing I noticed about the book cover, I had to go in a different direction because I have absolutely nothing in my stash in this color combination ha!

The title inspired me because my son is creating something every day and I remembered I have a photo where he is showing off his Lego truck he designed himself and points to his head that the idea came from there :).
😂

For clouds I found the perfect manufacturers strip full of clouds! I used Shimelle's new Starshine line for this layout.

I hope I could inspire you to play along in one way or the other!

Thanks for stopping by! X

Eeeeeek guest designing at The Cut Shoppe!

Hey there,

Well if you know me, or follow me, especially on Instagram, you know how I love cut files. I probably use them on 95% of my layouts in one way or the other. The Cut Shoppe is the first cut file shop I ever bought cut files from and I believe by now I have something like 160 designs from Ashley! Yes I am that obsessed 😂.

So obviously I was pretty happy when she asked me a while back if I want to guest on her blog! I mean what kind of question is that right?! Ha!

I mainly scrap photos of my son, it's actually why I started scrapbooking. I wanted that his memories are kept in a nice, artistic way and hopefully one day he will be happy to look at these albums! I actually promised myself not to scrap anything from before 2015 because we have tens of thousands of photos and it would be overwhelming... But recently I just ran out of photos...Apparently I do more layouts than I take photos, shame on me 😯. I chose some random baby photos that I love and made 2 layouts with them.

Cut file: Geo to Go

Cut file: What Goes Around

I also scrapped a random old photo of me in Lignano just because I really really wanted to use this gorgeous flower cut file and an old My Mind's Eye paper (from a wedding collection ha!).

Cut file: Splendid Spring

If you have an electronic die cutting machine, you need to go check all the wonderful designs in The Cut Shoppe Etsy store! There's something for everyone!

I hope you've found some inspiration here today! You can check Ashley's post on The Cut Shoppe blog, you might get to know one or two new things about me 😀. Thank you so much Ashley for this wonderful opportunity!

Thanks for stopping by! X

Here is a photo of the chipboards I chose for you! These are my absolute favourites and you could see me use all of them already on different projects!

And last but not least, MY CLUE for the challenge is "FULL OF COLORS" (think I Kropka's rainbow colored logo for instance!)

Here's a card for inspiration (this was not made for the challenge so it doesn't meet all requirements but it does meet mine :D).

Your next stop in the blog hop is Denisa's blog!

Hope to see lots of you participate! Have fun xxx
