Hello crafty friends, Happy New Year!
For my first post of 2021, I'm joining Altenew in their newest Build-A-Flower release blog hop! I haven't done anything for Altenew in almost a year and a half I think, so I'm super excited to have had the time to create something for them again!
You should have arrived here from the lovely Virginia's blog! I'll also add the full blog hop list at the end of this post for your convenience.
The new Build-A-Flower set is called Cora Louise Peony and it's lovely! Take a look!
You have a few different options to choose from:
- Build-A-Flower: Cora Louise Peony Layering Stamp & Die Set
- Build-A-Flower: Cora Louise Peony Layering Stamp & Die Set & Ink Bundle (5% off)
- Build-A-Flower Monthly Subscription Plan (14%)
I have a couple of cards for you today, showcasing this beautiful new set. I've filmed the process and will add the video down below for you. So instead of writing step by steps on how I created these cards, you can watch the video if you're interested.
Now for the fun part! Giveaway yay!
- To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 certificate to 1 lucky winner, and a $15 certificate to 10 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and on each designer's blog post on the blog hop list below by Jan 7/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 11 random winners from the comments left at each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on Jan 9, 2021.
GOOD LUCK!
That's it for today, I hope I could inspire you in one way or another!
I'll be back with lots of projects and videos in a few days! Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

DeleteSpectacular cards Zsoka. What a brilliant way to create the rainbow flowers, you had me at the gray card.. The stitching of the vertical lines and the gray flower popping out is my favourite. And also using the embellishment complementing the colors of the flowers is amazing..i got to try this now.. i was amazed when then came on my Insta feed... totally adore it..

ReplyDeleteThanks so much X
DeleteFabulous cards. Love both but particularly loved the stitched strips. Like seeing some slimline cards as I'm just beginning to make these. Thanks for the inspiration and technique tips.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! More slimline inspiration coming your way (if you stop by here or on my YouTube channel) on Jan 7 and 8, plus sometime later this month as well. X
DeleteI love them both, but I think the textures on the grey peony card with the stitching and different solid paper textures is my favorite. I tend to stick with 1 paper texture because I never know who to mix them, but you've shown me a way.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, glad you like it! I don't care about paper texture haha - that is, I will use any and all, no rhyme or reason. I'm more focused on color, and I don't have every color in every texture. If that makes sense! X
DeleteLove the rainbow peonies!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch! X
DeleteGlad I'm not the only one who has a few mishaps while in the happy fun of card making. Love your cards and video tutorial. Great cards. Off to more great hopping.
ReplyDeleteThank you! No, you sure are not the only one. I make mistakes every time I touch paper lol! X

ReplyDeleteThank you X
DeleteI love your process, and thank you for allowing us to see your "mistakes." It's reassuring to know that even an excellent designer can make them! your slimline card is breathtaking, I love the rainbow!
ReplyDeleteAwww thanks so much! But of course, everyone makes mistakes, I know I do all the time. Never throw away anything, just keep on working with those mistakes - maybe you need to change your original idea, but 99% of the time your project can be saved. My 2 cents anyway X
DeleteI love your choice of colors! What beautiful and happy cards!
ReplyDeleteThank you X
DeleteJust amazing! Love them both, the grey is outstanding and love the stitching. Also love all those flowers lined up like a rainbow.
