Hi there crafty peeps,
It's that time again! The Spellbinders May Club Kits are here!
I will not go into step by step tutorials here, since I made process videos for all of today's projects - I'll just attach some photos! I'll link the videos down below, after each set of cards. You can also subscribe to my YouTube Channel and press the bell icon so you never miss a new video! You'll find all the supplies I've used linked in the description boxes of the videos.
As a reminder, Spellbinders have several monthly kits, which are really great! You can subscribe to:
- Small Die of the Month
- Large Die of the Month
- Card Kit of the Month
- Clear Stamp of the Month
- Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month
- Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month
You can find all necessary information about these kits here.
Without further ado, here are my projects with the May Large Die Kit!
You'll find the process video for these cards here:
I only have one card with the Small Die Kit this month:
I do have a bonus card that I did later, but I wasn't able to create a video for this. I've made it with the beautiful Large Die Kit:
Here I stitched the panel in white and I stitched the sentiment as well. Going in I knew this might not turn out well, because the font isn't ideal for hand stitching, but I wanted to try anyway. My friend was able to read it, I don't think I would be if I didn't know what it says. But I wanted to share anyway, maybe you have sentiments that are better suited for hand stitching and this gives you an idea?
You know how much I love colors, so as much as I wanted to make a white card, I just couldn't hehe! So I created a colorful background using the Color Block Slices Die Set. Which by the way is back in stock now, so hurry if you don't want to miss out! It's such a versatile set that you can use to create all kinds of fun backgrounds with!
I used an A2 size white card stock, then centered the first die cut on it and lined up the rest left and right to create this partial sunburst pattern. It's probably a shame I covered it all up :D
Then I finished off the card with a few enamel dots in coordinating colors for more dimension and pops of color!
That's it for today guys! I hope you love this month's die kits as much as I do!
I also hope I could inspire you in some small way!
Happy crafting!
