Card inspirations - DT project for Pinkfresh Studio

Hi there friends,

Today I am sharing a few cards I've made with Pinkfresh Studio stamp and die sets that have just been released!

I am in love with the new release! Every single item is gorgeous! If you haven't yet, you still have time to participate in our blog hop where you can win lots of prizes! Including the full release! Just check the Pinkfresh Studio blog post from April 23!

Now for the cards! One of my most favourites from this release is the gorgeous Floral wreath with a  swan die designed by Bea Valint. It's so elegant and pretty! And the dimension you get with the  flowers! Just super stunning! I was really looking forward to this one!

I went with a very simple design on my first card. I made an A2 size top folding card base to which I adhered an A2 size white panel. I did this because the heavy weight white card stock I use for my card bases is a greyish kind of white that I don't like. For the panel I used Neenah Solar White card stock.

I then die cut the wreath from blue textured card stock as well as from coral and white card stock. I adhered the blue wreath to my card base using foam adhesive to create dimension.

I cut out some of the flowers from the other two card stocks using my scissors, then added these to some of the blue flowers for some variety. I die cut the different pieces of the swan from white, black and coral card stock, then adhered it to the center. I stamped my sentiment on a coral paper strip and glued it down. To finish off my card I added a few Nuvo drops to the flower centers.

Since I had some of the coral and white die cuts left, I've created another card using these scraps. Nothing goes to waste around here ha! I added an A2 size grey card stock panel to my A2 size card base. I cut a smaller piece of gorgeous patterned paper from the Be You collection, and used a border punch to add some lace detail at the bottom of it. This is my all time favourite punch, it adds such a delicate detail!

Before adhering the partial wreath at the top, I embossed a sentiment onto it. I cut out the white flowers I had left from the other wreath and added these to the coral flowers. Finally, I added some Nuvo drops to the flower centers and some twine at the bottom of my card.

My last card for today is somewhat different but I hope you still like it! I've used the Constellation stamp and die set, designed by Inna Moreva. I stamped the circle in black ink, twice, using my stamping tool, because I wanted to get a nice, even result. I then fussy cut out this image. I created an A2 top folding card base. I cut an A2 size piece off this splattered patterned paper from the A Case of the Blahs collection. I love how it looks like I had made it :). Then I adhered this paper to my card base.

I stamped my sentiment in black ink too. I popped up the big circle with some foam adhesive. I die cut a few stars and the Cassiopeia constellation from gold foil card stock and glued these on using glue dots and pop dots to create a dimensional look.

That was it! A super simple card that would be perfect for the men in your lives I think!

I hope I could inspire you today in one way or the other!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
