I'm so excited to be joining the Altenew May 2019 release blog hop today! You should have arrived here from Maryam Perez' blog. You can also find the full blog hop list at the end of this post in case you're lost.
There are so many beautiful stamps and dies in this month's release again! I haven't had the chance to work with the new inks or enamel pins, so only the stamps and dies I'm using here are new!
I've created quite a few cards to showcase these gorgeous products. Hope you'll like them! I won't be doing step by steps BUT if you want to know any details on how I made something or what products I used (other than stamps and dies which I will be linking in this post), please just ask away. I'm always happy to help!

On my first cards today I've used the Spring Bouquet ink set (released in March 2019) to create ombre backgrounds using the A Walk in the Woods stamp.
On my next cards I'm focusing on the Ombre Alpha stamp set! I also used an older stamp, I believe it is one of Altenew's oldest one, Painted Flowers.
And now the fun part...Giveaways, yay! Read on to find out how you can win! Good Luck!
For my sentiments I chose 2 from the Fancy Greetings stamp sent, and stamped them in matching colors.
I die cut the roses with the beautiful Fine Bouqet standalone die, then pieced them back together to make floral embellishments.
On my next cards I'm focusing on the Ombre Alpha stamp set! I also used an older stamp, I believe it is one of Altenew's oldest one, Painted Flowers.
Next up, probably my favorite cards with this release! I've used the lovely Ornate Foliage stamp and die sets (bundle is available here) as well as the above mentioned inks. I also used a stamp from the Fancy Greetings stamp set, as well as the Dotted Swirls Debossing cover die.
Last but not least I have one more card duo with the same Ornate Foliage set. Additionally, I used the wonderful Leaf Frame cover die too, which is an older product.
And now the fun part...Giveaways, yay! Read on to find out how you can win! Good Luck!

ReplyDeleteWonderful - I love the card you made with the leaf frame cover die - the contrast of the charcoal/black and white behind the floral panel is lovely. I also love the contrasting texture you used with the floral die cut- that textured card stock for the flowers over the stamped visual texture of the woodgrain looks great!

ReplyDeleteI love how you use the wood stamp in the background. I have to learn not to be so conventional and assume it has to be brown. LOL

ReplyDeleteAwesome release! Wonderful creations!
ReplyDeleteDear Zsoko
ReplyDeleteI am in love with all your cards. They are out of this world u always create something extrodinary. Please can you tell me how you created the effect like a weave on your first card on the rose. Also the last cards you hv created that stitchy effect. was it in the dye or did u go that extar mile and create it. Love and hugs
Hi, thank you so much! I'm not sure what you mean by weave on the rose? But I did describe how I made those cards and what I used to make them. Can you check if that gives you an answer? As for the last cards, if you mean the dotted swirls, that effect is achieved by a Dotted Swirls cover die, I used it on several cards though, so I am not sure if that's what you mean? I hope this helps! Let me know X
DeleteThese are so pretty my favorite is the raimbow alphabet card.. So stylish.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful projects. You did a wonderful jog showcasing the A Walk in the Woods background stamp -- it's lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely cards. I especially love the cards with the ornate foliage stamp set. I think it’s my favorite from this release.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I always love the colours that you choose, and am blown away that you were able to create so many cards!! I really love it when designers also utilize old stamp sets / die cuts so that they are not forgotten with each new release :)
ReplyDeleteAll of your art is just beautiful. I especially love those first two cards. Amazing use of the dies and colors.
ReplyDeleteWow! I like all of these so much that I can't pick a favorite. You use a lot of wonderful and different techniques on all of them. I do like the paper piecing. It looks lovely. The ombre look and bright colors along with all those background and frame dies make just gorgeous projects. I think that dotted swirls set is my favorite from this release.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful variety of cards.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, you are very talented! I picked all your stunning cards as my favorites from the hop so far!
